Food without Boundaries
With increasing cost of living worldwide, food poverty has become a real issue. We may enjoy an environment where food is abundant that we may not be aware of the fact that there are so many people living on leftovers and many children live in constant hunger.
With our CSR focus on poverty alleviation, Food without Boundaries is based on a food bank concept.
Shama properties act as food storage, accepting donations of lasting food items such as milk powder, rice and canned sardines for communities where poverty keeps them from having provisions they need.
Ensuring the majority of children and elderly receive all their basic meals and care is a great responsibility and is costly. Food without Boundaries aims to reduce the financial burden and help sustain these food aid programmes to ensure these poor communities receive the basic diet and care they need.
